30 Rock: A One-Time Special

I’m of the belief that the biggest issues facing this special come from the necessary evil of it being an hour long. There’s enough good material here to make for a respectable half an hour, but with this also being an upfront that lauds NBC’s upcoming shows (which, great, another “Law & Order”, real timely there, y’all), it’s hard to stay interested in what’s going on as it stretches to the fifty minute mark. I still think it was an overall success, which means I’m more positive than most, but this wasn’t as charming as the “Parks and Rec” special.
