A Concerto Is a Conversation

This was a lovely little piece that didn’t change my life but did brighten my day. You come to feel for the Bowers men in the course of “Conversation”’s thirteen minutes, helped immensely with the choice of close-up shots on both men, and they have good energy that makes the whole thing fly by. That said, if you’re not in the mood for a conversation between two men about their pasts, there’s nothing here that’s going to put you in the mood for it. I doubt this will win Best Documentary Short Subject, but I’d not complain if it won.
