ANIMA (2019 Netflix short film)

Hark! I am a butterfly, swallowing through the winds of change on the back of an eagle made of asbestos, judging you all through the lens of…ah, forget it, turns out a parody of heavy-handed, ostentatious symbolism is virtually indistinguishable from the real McCoy. Thom Yorke stars as Thom Yorke, a weird-lookin’ dude that sucks at riding subways. For whatever else you might want to say about the “Resident Evil” films, Paul Anderson sure knows how to stage a dance sequence. It’s fine advertisement for Yorke’s new album, I suppose, but can y’all can stop banging on that anvil now?
