Are You Afraid of the Dark? (The Tale of the Night Shift)

Beholden to strict network standards and incredibly limited resources, I don’t know that this, one of the final episodes of the initial run, could have turned out any better. The design of the vampire is cool, the build-up of the scope of the tale is relatively patient and nowhere near as overbearing as a typical episode gives, and Emmanuelle Chriqui, who is Canadian, is tasked with saying “sorry” and that is amusing to me. This seems to be one of the more fondly remembered episodes and I had a pretty good time with it, but I vastly prefer “Dream Girl”.
