“Bible Adventures (Boss Fight Books 7)” by Gabe Durham
It wasn’t difficult to call that this tale of the company behind the best-selling Christian video game of all time (350,000+ units!) would involve some comic elements, and it ain’t short on that—the story of how “Super Noah’s Ark 3D” was developed from the ashes of a “Hellraiser” adaptation had me laughing with my whole body. What I wasn’t expecting, though, was how Durham could mix in this odd tale with his own very Christian upbringing, finding meaning and connection in Wisdom Tree’s bad but charming games. It’s downright beautiful, maybe the best book of Boss Fight’s considerable catalog.
