One of the most infamous signs ever held up in a crowd at a WrestleMania event was in reference to the absurd feud between Booker T and Edge that culminated at the eighteenth show of the immortals: "THEY ARE FIGHTING OVER SHAMPOO". Both men in their prime were good enough that they didn't need a fake Japanese shampoo commercial to draw an audience, but at least that concept was absurd in a fun way. This, in other words, is my way of saying that while that stipulation was bad, there's comfort in knowing it could have been much, MUCH worse.
