Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. (N64 version)
This is less of a video game and more like an affliction cursed onto a genre. It aims to be the height of gore and ultraviolence in fighting games at the expense of good taste and anything resembling balance or fun mechanics, which was a good way to make a quick buck in the nineties. Even the limb loss mechanics aren’t fun—“Time Killers” did it better, and that’s not a phrase I get to use often. The character designs are worth looking up to laugh at, but that’s about it. Chopping limbs and burning opponents shouldn’t be this boring.
