Bojack Horseman: Sabrina's Christmas Wish

This episode has to perform a juggling act of satirizing holiday specials while operating as a soft introduction to the series in case anyone watches this before starting the first season, and that "Sabrina's Christmas Wish" pulls it off is hardly a surprise given how good the show becomes but is appreciated nonetheless. Rewatching this after catching up on the rest of the show provides the bonus of catching on to foreshadowing that paints parts of the dialogue in a painful light (bastards). It manages to earn its schmaltzy ending while taking the piss out of schmaltzy endings, because Bojack.
