BoJack Horseman (Season Four)

"BoJack Horseman" has become to be about far more than BoJack Horseman, as proven by a season that puts BoJack Horseman on the backburner for about half of it. It's a move that ultimately pays dividends even as a few of the arcs don't land as well as they could, giving spirited contrast to what becomes the A-plot, the most affecting and moving storyline the show has pursued to date that dives hard into how pain can travel across generations. It's heady stuff made digestable by, among other things, a madcap subplot about dentist clowns led around by a buffoon.
