Bron Breakker vs. Tyler Bate to unify the NXT and NXT UK Championships, from WWE NXT Worlds Collide 2022

It isn’t necessarily a problem that Breakker isn’t great—he’s doing well for someone of his age and experience, and it stands to reason he’ll grow into a great performer. It’s a problem here, however, because the script and execution of this match rely on the lie that he’s great, and opposite an outstanding seasoned vet, Breakker’s present shortcomings are in spotlight. The match wasn’t a total disaster, but I’m ninety minutes removed from its conclusion, and I’ve forgotten much of it beyond the performers going through their signature spots. Breakker has a spear, cool, so does practically everyone else.
