Cactus Jack / Dude Love / Mankind / Mick Foley vs. Triple H for the WWF Championship (Hell In a Cell) (Cactus Jack must retire if he loses), from WWF No Way Out 2000

The unholy street fight they had a month prior was awe-inspiring, creative, and terrifying; it was arguably the best match of the decade. In comparison, well, PARTS of this are terrifying, but most of this goes down the path you’d expect; an AI could have constructed this match. The main emotion I felt through the first half of the match was boredom, waiting for the interesting second half of the match, where things that happened had meaning. I can’t say this was a bad match, but I’ve no interest in ever watching this one again as once is plenty enough.
