Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins / Tyler Black vs. Roman Reigns and The Rock (I am not recounting the winning stipulations; if you want to know, ask your mother), from WWE WrestleMania XL Night One

I’ve never had a job working in wrestling, but it shouldn’t take a rocket surgeon to explain why letting a fifty-one-year-old man who hasn’t worked a twenty-minute match in over a decade wrestle the second-longest match in the history of this event is a bad idea. It isn’t impossible to hide that Dwayne isn’t the athlete he used to be, but going forty minutes basically forces his shortcomings to be exposed, and even if what were being presented was verisimilitudinous, it is a forty-minute match with about ten minutes of good ideas. It ended strong, because these always do; whatever.
