Deja Vu
The least aggravating of Kemco’s first-person adventure titles (not stiff competition, to be sure). “Déjà Vu” has a lively atmosphere to it in which your punching someone is accompanied with a “SOCKO!” and the descriptions of your demise getting a few chuckles. The path to the end, unfortunately, is more complicated than it needs to be, even by the standards of detective yarns. I’ll put it this way: to successfully complete this game, you have to destroy evidence. Yes, you’re supposed to be the hero of this story. Still, this is worlds better than “Shadowgate” and “Uninvited”. Many worlds better.
