Dys4ia

There are a multitude of comparisons to be made between “Dys4ia” and the later, more visible “Coming Out Simulator 2014”—they’re more like interactive narratives than typical games, they both have distinctive art styles, and I don’t feel qualified to talk about their (for lack of a better word) “authenticity”. “Dys4ia” has the edge with a more evocative art style and a harder punch, getting meaning out of body hair and games of pong, all of which do a better job of conveying the author’s sardonic tendencies than might have been afforded with just text. It’s short and it’s brilliant.
