Edge vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, from WWE Money In the Bank 2021

Edge’s third one-on-one PPV match since he returned was his best so far as well as, at thirty-three minutes, his shortest—what a distinction. This match ran on the goodwill accumulated by both men above, you know, building intriguing internal drama or interesting spots to keep fans interested, and while the live crowd was mesmerized, this felt twice as long as Syuri vs. Hayashishita, which was ten minutes longer than this match. Also, Edge keeps getting booked as some technical master, as though he Boston Crab’d Jeff Hardy off a ladder that one time. Still better than his Orton matches.
