Eliminator Boat Duel (NES version)
How this made it onto the Switch before “Blades of Steel”, “Bubble Bobble”, “Final Fantasy”, “Little Nemo: The Dream Master”, and “Life Force” is beyond me. The birds eye part of these races works well enough, but things fall apart when it switches to third-person tracking as the game turns into a luck-based affair as it’s impossible to dodge all of the obstacles and recovering from these accidents isn’t really up to the player. There’s also one race that amounts to an instant game over if you haven’t invested heavily in one stat. Why did I bother finishing this game?
