Erica (PS4 version)

This interactive movie does a lot of things I like and a lot of things I hate. I like how great little bits of cinematography keep showing up, reincorporating themes of identity and doubt without being overbearing (a rarity for video games), and plenty of the inputs did a great job of sucking me into the world. On the other hand, this is a story about how mental hospitals are to be feared and doctors to be doubted and this sort of crap probably should’ve died out with polio. Turn your brain off and this is a fine two hours.
