Fuego del Sol vs. Hook, from the December 10, 2021 episode of AEW Rampage

It’s the “make Taz’s handsome kid look like a cross between Superman, the Predator, the messiah, and a Jonas brother” show, and while Fuego does a lot to make the kid look good, Hook does a lot of lifting here, much more than you’d assume from someone having his first professional match. You’d think he had been training for most of his life given his effortless swagger, to say nothing of his in-ring prowess, and while this didn’t tell a complicated story, it told a simple one effectively. Bonus points for having Taz on commentary big-upping his kid on commentary.
