GCW One Afternoon Only

Maybe it’s because I’m still so used to “classic” ROH double-headers where the first show was basically a preshow for the killer second night, maybe it’s because this show had shockingly few stakes outside advancing a storyline I don’t care much for or about, maybe it’s because “Wasted Time” was a low-end pick for 2022’s best show, but whatever it is, “One Afternoon Only” hardly left an impression on me. It wasn’t a horrible show, it wasn’t even bad, it was all serviceable and occasionally fun and completely disposable, and being biodegradable makes it better than some shows I’ve seen.
