I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore
I liked this movie a heck of a lot more when it was called "Blue Ruin". That film, which "Anymore"'s director starred in, puts its distaste for its perceived malaise of apathy among its population as subtext behind a darkly comic deconstruction. "Feel", however, makes that malaise part of the driving motivation of its most important characters, making for a film that's fine being more of a mood than a narrative until it crashes into a completely different plot in its last half hour. Lynskey's engaging performance might be the only thing keeping "World" just merely bad instead of horrible.
