I think I loved this? If you’re the sort of person who demands consistent logic in every aspect of wrestling and insist that every second of a match should see wrestlers actively competing towards winning, I can’t imagine you getting anything out of this. If you’re willing to buy into spectacle and one-upmanship as its own goal, each wrestler working to show they deserve to be known as the best deathmatch wrestler going rather than own some championship, there’s so much to enjoy here. I lost count of the number of times this match made me go “OH JESUS CHRIST”.
