Maika vs. Suzu Suzuki for the vacant World of Stardom Championship, from Stardom Dream Queendom 2023

This was a fun bout with lots of issues. It’s maybe not the best foot forward to start a title reign featuring a first-time world champion, especially since the game of outdoing each other was sidelined with a lot of repetition and occasional sloppiness (and that’s without getting into the table botch that has likely already given too many MRA wrestling fans ammo towards their fake agenda), but it stayed spirited, had a fun finishing sequence, and felt like the start of something fresh going forward. Soft thumbs-up for this likable bout featuring two women with a lot of potential.
