My Cousin Vinny
The only strike against this, one of the best comedies of the nineties, is that its plot goes exactly where you'd think it does down the route you think it is going to travel, but that's fine when you've got a script this good and a cast this talented. There's no scene that doesn't deliver either important information, important characterization, or a punchline (hey, that's like "Zootopia"!), and while Marisa Tomei is the obvious standout as a genius ditz, even the witnesses convey enough humanity to rise above easy caricature. The rare comedy that actually deserves its two hour runtime.
