Pete Dunne vs. Tyler Bates for the WWE United Kingdom Championship, from WWE NXT TakeOver: Chicago

I get that wrestling is an elastic art, that what works for Necro Butcher won't work for Bret Hart, but more wrestlers need to have this sort of match. Dunne and Bate, at a combined forty-three years of age, have mastered wrestling as wit, packing their fifteen minutes of work with fifteen minutes of story. This isn't the first match to incorporate several styles of wrestling, but it is hard to think of any that work so organically and wonderfully as they do here. At the risk of channeling Sam Endicott, Dunne vs. Bate might be the future of wrestling.
