Pokemon Puzzle League
The overriding question I went into this with was, assuming one still had access to and means to play “Tetris Attack” and had no great fondness for the Pokemon franchise, why should anyone bother with this? Granted, youth of the time likely didn’t have access to older titles as their parents would discard the older systems, but nowadays, this game is clunky, inelegant, and registering as little besides a quick cash-in, with its best thrills executed better in titles that preceded and followed it—even the Game Boy Color tie-in had the novelty of being portable. Serviceable, perhaps, but forgettable.
