Puyo Puyo Champions (PS4 version)

I’m no Puyo Puyo expert or enthusiast; “Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine” is about all I need when it comes to single-player Puyo. The advertisements for “Puyox2 Champions”, however, insisted that online play was something special, enough that its challenge modes and other play was secondary in selling it to the public. Those advertisements now read as hysterically out of date given I couldn’t, no matter how long I waited, get to play online with anyone else. I presume the audience moved on to another Puyo game, and then effectively abandon that game when the next Puyo game comes out.
