I’ve heard too many people say, “the drama was great, too bad about the wrestling”, as though wrestling moves aren’t a means to convey a dramatic narrative. This was half an hour of compelling television built around well-established characters, the climax of a story built over several months with an outcome that could’ve gone either way. Who cares if Zayn did all the cool spots and Reigns threw a whole bunch of punches and sneered at the crowd? If it is interesting, if it stirs the heart, if it makes you care, the match was a success, plain and simple.
