Schitt’s Creek (series review)

If the modern discourse posits that formerly-acclaimed shows like “Broad City” and “Game of Thrones” are now effectively worthless, what choice do I have in processing a show like “Schitt’s Creek” that never found its stride besides active disdain? “Creek” starts off bad, becomes terrible, and concludes with its worst season, and while the acting is fine and I appreciate that the rural folk are not cast as close-minded, that doesn’t make up for a dearth of effective humor. There’s no shortage of great comedies on television to watch, so you’ve little reason to give this the time of day.
