Serena (2014 PC game)

“Serena” falls apart when it reveals what it really wants to be. It would have been perfectly fine as an exploration of a failed relationship via a formerly shared residence, and “Serena” is at its strongest when you’re reminiscing over how she used her comb and how a chair can bring back so much. It is certainly small enough that it could have been just that, but no, “Serena” takes a dramatic turn and keeps turning in blatantly obvious ways until the climax you predicted twenty minutes ago plays out exactly as you think it does. Sweet voice acting, though.
