This stoner comedy that practically no one saw and garnered mostly middling reviews might be the best stoner comedy I’ve ever seen, a comic odyssey that sees Anna Faris’s Jane (natch) start the day eating some cupcakes and end the day with avoiding the cops while clutching the Communist Manifesto. It’s the sort of project that wouldn’t work if anyone involved wasn’t working at the top of their game, but even John Krasinski’s perpetually-nonplussed loser works in this context. Also, it’s blissfully short. Needs more love.
