I’m not sure if it was due to most of these guys working roles they’re not accustomed to (Speed Muscle, natural heels, play babyface while Hulk, a natural babyface, plays heel) or if these guys have slowed down in the interim since I’ve regularly watched them or if the lack of a proper crowd threw them off, but this was far below what I was expecting. This might have been acceptable as a third-hour RAW match to advance angles, but everyone here loves them some rest holds and beating up the comedy character at ringside. Forgettable, though not actively awful.
