Sword of Vermilion

“Vermilion” makes a great first impression with its embrace of fantasy cheese; first sentence of the synopsis tells this is “about the son of Erik, king of Excalabria, who takes on a quest of revenge to defeat Tsarkon and free the world of Vermilion from evil”, which, yeah, gimme that hot garbage! Even the in-town graphics and music take cues from “Phantasy Star III”, a game that’s also hot garbage that I enjoy. Then combat starts and it reads like “Zelda” if “Zelda” was one of the worst games of all time. It cost me fifty bucks to play this!
