The Amazing Digital Circus (The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor)

Each episode of “The Amazing Digital Circus” has been better than the one that preceded it, and the first episode was already at a level of quality that challenged acclaimed animated programs on broadcast television. Go figure, of course, that it’s the Halloween episode in which this, a show that counts “I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream” among its influences, does more to expand on the characters and their relationships above metatextual horror and humor. I’ve been plenty entertained by the series so far, but “Mildenhall Manor” marks the point where I’ve started to care what happen next.
