The Expanse (The Big Empty)

The fanbase of this show often warns folk trying to get into it that “it takes a few episodes for it to get good BUT THEN IT GETS REALLY GOOD”, as though they’re afraid their friends won’t trust the two arcs focused primarily on world-building and political place setting won’t go anywhere and the plight of the working-class protagonists won’t resonate. To these folks, I love you but give your peers some credit. At this point in “Game of Thrones”, the wolves were the characters involved in the most onscreen drama, and your loved ones put up with that business.
