The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho for the WWF Tag Team Championship (TLC III), from the May 24, 2001 episode of WWF SmackDown!

TLC II suffers from whiplash of critical reception, but TLC III has the opposite problem, of being too beloved (likely owed to it taking work to track down). Its spectacle challenges that of the previous match, but at the cost of important psychology and storytelling elements (Jeff eliminates himself with a successful offensive move, for starters). There's also that certain elements about the work conveyed are difficult to watch these days, and that's not getting into Benoit being Benoit. It ain't boring, though, and that means it is barely on the green. A light thumbs up for this problematic match.
