The Last of Us (Future Days)

This is a tough hour to judge. The performances were aces as usual (and it’s great to see O’Hara recover from the crapfest that was “Schitt’s Creek”) and the drama was fine; I’d probably be kinder towards this as a filler episode in the middle of the season. However, to not get to the inciting incident of this story in the first episode of the season is something I find difficult to make sense of. Maybe this will make sense in the tapestry of the entire season, but as its own hour, this was on the low end of good.
