The observations about the nuclear American family circa 2012, which was ten years ago yes you are old, turn this into something of an interesting, if unintentional, period piece, and the Apatow kids do a good job of acting like kids. Beyond this, this wasn’t funny or interesting, though it may have predicted the modern popular comedy trope of saying words as though you’re delivering a punchline without conveying any humor. It’s mostly a bunch of people saying “getting old sucks” and occasionally reading others the riot act for two hours. Y’all need to turn on the TV for that?
