It has attitude! It has funky tunes! It has my eternal indifference! Maybe this game plays better with a buddy next to you, someone who wants to pursue a different path than your own so you tussle over which bit to go over next, but without that element, you’re going over pieces of land hoping to find items while much of this just glosses over you. Some elements help you walk across the land easier, but you’re still traversing sparse landscapes without difficulty. I can see how this could have charmed back in the day, but it doesn’t hold up.
