Turok 2 (Game Boy Color version)

I suppose this version of “Turok 2: Seeds of Evil” could be viewed as some sort of personality test. The game is a platformer with elements of a shooter, but it maintains the main tenants of the console version—resource management, encouraging exploration, levels that are too long—but the actual game feel is just too imprecise for what they’re going for. The guns feel terrible to use, Turok’s walk speed and animation are off, and you’re bound to lose a life on every level due to little fault of your own. Better than most GBC platformers, but still troubled.
