Umaga vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship (Last Man Standing), from WWE Royal Rumble 2007

Wrestling, being what it is, has presented the story of big man vs. frightening behemoth several thousand times over, but if there's been an occasion in which it was booked or executed better than it was here, I haven't seen it (and I've looked). This isn't a particularly brutal match, but what it lacks in carnage, it makes up for with intensity and character work. If Cena is Superman, this match argues that Umaga might be Doomsday. Every punch has purpose, every grimace a message. Perhaps the most underrated match in contention for the title "greatest match of all time".
