Virtual Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (revisited)

Playing “Tekken 7” made me curious about how it compares to “Virtua Fighter”, and given it has been months since the latest version of VF5 came out, I was hopeful there would’ve been substantial efforts made to turn it around. Alas, it is still a game that caters to an online scene that barely exists (half my matches were against people spamming one button, undoubtedly for reasons beyond their own personal enjoyment) and there have been no single-player updates at all. The most substantial update is paid DLC, for a game that tanked months ago. Only genius moves from Sega.
