Volleyball (NES version)
Volleyball is good. “Volleyball” is bad, which means it’s one of the better sports-related titles on the NES. A one-sided match in this game takes fifteen minutes to complete, and it’s likely to be a blowout if you’re playing against the computer, who can be outsmarted with a sophisticated tactic I like to call “keeping the round going until the AI puts its pants on its head and drops the ball for no discernable reason”. There’s no depth, no mode changes, nothing to keep you coming back once you’ve finished a single match. It’s better than “Soccer”, in other words.
