What Maisie Knew (2012 film)

If I had to guess, I’d imagine that a whole lot of plot points driven by character flaws might register as plot holes to children of parents with a healthy relationship (“oh, who would let their new boyfriend pick up their kid from school, that’s ludicrously unrealistic”). The bigger strike against “What Maisie Knew” comes with the territory with its floaty perspective as the titular child of divorce struggles to perceive the difference between hours and months, meaning that we learn about two weddings minutes after the bride and groom of each are introduced. A lesser but still powerful “Boyhood”.
