What Remains of Edith Finch (PS4 version)

The most exciting thing to happen to video game storytelling since "Spec Ops". That's limiting, really; "The Line" has one outstanding scene the story revolves around while there are at least three sequences of equal or greater merit here. "What Remains of Edith Finch" would justify a purchase if it only consisted of these levels, devoid of the encompassing story that connects the dots between generations of dreamers and dream weavers and tellers of tall tales. It's wrenching, it's funny, it's moving, it's the best "walking simulator" I've ever played and works hard to remove the venom from that term.
