Words on Bathroom Walls (2020 film)

I went into this suspecting it would represent a massive failing of its subject matter (a romantic dramedy with a schizophrenic protagonist), but to my wondrous surprise, “Bathroom Walls” treats its subject, well, not great, but not nearly bad enough to get worked up over (unless this is to be used as a teaching supplement, in which case, get that garbage outta here). The real failing is having multiple characters carry the idiot ball in service of a narrative whose path could be charted from the beginning. I’d be rating this a lot lower if it weren’t so dang pretty.
