A Short Hike (PC version)

A game that aims to be relaxing—of course it sucks. Thrill at realizing you have to get more doodads for folk who loves throwing in “oh, uh” in their dialogue that you have to click through in order to get slightly further up the mountain! Marvel at the blurry graphics that aim for simplistic charm and completely miss the mark! Be dazzled by the knockoff Sufjan soundtrack! All this, in service of delivering a laid-back experience, like a nap, if a nap cost $8. I was annoyed for the whole of the ninety minutes this crap took to beat.
