Remember how Brock Lesnar beat the shit out of John Cena at SummerSlam and it was awesome and engaging because they’re both great wrestlers? This was basically the same thing except twenty years prior and in the middle a card that ran for ten hours (eat your heart out, seven-hour WrestleManias). It isn’t just a squash match, though—Toyota remains defiant throughout and her high-octane offense, though sporadic, is convincing enough that you come to believe she can beat the monster in front of her with a flash KO. Easily the best match on one of joshi wrestling’s best cards.
