Batman: The Caped Crusader (…And Be a Villain)

My compliments towards this episode extend exclusively to the opening shot employing fake shakey-cam in service of conveying a POV shot of someone hiding in the shadows. The rest of this episode was terrible, a dumb and predictable plot involving a stupid villain doing stupid things that are probably scary to babies but ineffective to anyone before September 15, 1995 (the date the final episode of B:TAS aired). There’s no great or meaningful characterization, no strong messaging, and ultimately no purpose to this killing spree that ends when the Batman punches the scary guy a bunch. Just a disastrous episode.
