Batman: The Caped Crusader (Kiss of the Catwoman)

I realize superhero media nowadays is overflowing with low-hanging fruit of recognition, believing a character saying “Harvey, don’t be so TWO-FACED!” is effective foreshadowing. Going into modern works, though, I often task myself with determining if these works would resonate if one were ignorant of the characters and storylines being cribbed from the comics. Plenty of works pass this test; heck, “Batman: The Animated Series” passed with flying colors. When the best part of a Catwoman episode is Kyle retaining her maid while living in squalor, it points to a problem of priorities I fear the show will not correct.
