Before Sunset

It’s another nigh-plotless film about two people exploring their feelings for each other. Laconic descriptions make it sound boring, and I know there’s a sizable part of the population that need more from their romantic dramedies, but I found this just as enthralling as the first, maybe a little more thanks to the form the sparks take near the end. Put simple, Jesse and Céline are defined enough to be interesting by themselves and having their personalities occasionally clash but mostly compliment each other makes for an experience that makes these eighty minutes feel like fifteen. Wonderful stuff all around.
